Every morning for the past week or so, Luke hasn’t felt well.

“I don’t know what it is, mom. I just feel weird.”

He didn’t want to eat breakfast. I chalked it up to ISTEP jitters. Even though he has never gotten nervous for standardized tests. The crazy kid actually loves them.

Or maybe it was nerves from ending his elementary school career. Lots of changes were in his future.

We’ll see how he feels when summer begins. I’m sure he will forget all about this “weird feeling.”
